Latex Foley Catheter is widely used in departments of urology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology for drainage of urine and medication. It is designed for patients suffering from mobility difficulties or those who are completely bed-ridden.
The Urethral catheters are passed through the urethra during urinary catheterization and into the bladder to drain urine. Made of high-quality Latex with silicone coating, the tube is inserted to ensure efficient drainage. Once positioned, a retention balloon fixes the catheter near the end to prevent it from falling off, while the drainage tube connects to a urine collection bag.
💡 DIRECTIONS: After aseptic catheterization, inflate the retention balloon by inserting the syringe tip into the valve and introduce the necessary amount of sterile water.
⚠️ WARNING: Do not use ointments or lubricants having a petroleum base. They will damage the catheter and cause the balloon to burst.
