Surgical sutures are special threads used for ligation and suture hemostasis and tissue suturing during surgery or trauma treatment. It is divided into absorbable lines and non-absorbable lines. Our needles are available in various types and can be used with sutures of any material.
1. Catgut: Made from the intestines of healthy animals, containing collagen. No removal needed. Available as ordinary and chromium catgut.
2. Chemical Synthesis (PGA, PGLA, PLA): Polymer linear materials made by drawing, coating, and advanced chemical processes.
These sutures cannot be absorbed into the tissue and require manual removal after the wound has sufficiently healed. Removal time varies based on the site and patient condition.
