Nylon suture is a monofilament surgical suture synthesized by polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 6.6. As a non-absorbable suture, it meets all requirements of the USP for surgical applications. It features high strength, excellent biocompatibility, and low tissue reaction.
Due to its monofilament structure, it does not support bacterial growth, significantly reducing the risk of infection and capillarity. The suture is integrated with non-destructive needles produced via drilling technology, ensuring smooth passage through tissue with minimal trauma.
